Collector I - Post Default

Job Summary

Connecting with consumers to assist them in managing their defaulted student loans, the full-time Collector I - Post Default will negotiate payment arrangements, perform skip tracing, and ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with account holders to profile borrowers and negotiate repayment options
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate individuals and maintain accurate documentation of all contacts
• Stay updated on federal and state regulations governing collections and integrate training into daily practices

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Progressive work experience, preferably in a third-party collection environment
• PC experience in a Windows environment
• Basic keyboarding skills
