Job Summary

A company is looking for a BS/MD College Admissions Counselor to assist high school students with the college admissions process.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise students on college applications, including personal statements and extracurricular activities
• Create academic and extracurricular road maps and assist with standardized testing strategies
• Provide guidance on financial aid resources and maintain communication with students and parents

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from a top 50 national university; advanced degrees are a plus
• Degree in STEM or deep expertise in the field
• Experience as a college counselor with a proven track record of successful admissions
• Consistent availability in the afternoons and/or weekends for student meetings
• Passion for education and talent for teaching and essay editing
