Seeking a passionate College Admissions Essay Editor with storytelling expertise, this seasonal remote role will manage high volumes of student essays, providing personalized video feedback and coaching to enhance narrative quality and authenticity from May to December.

Key responsibilities

• Develop narrative strategies by identifying structural gaps and clich s in student essays
• Record personalized feedback videos for each essay, explaining edits with empathy and clarity
• Manage a dynamic queue of essays, ensuring timely and high-quality edits during peak periods

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Writing, Communications, Education, or Humanities
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in admissions editing, familiar with Common App and UC PIQs
• Strong storytelling skills with an understanding of narrative arcs and voice
• Comfortable recording multiple short videos daily with engaging presence
• Ability to edit efficiently in a high-volume environment, utilizing Google Docs, Zoom, and Loom
