Job Summary

Owning the college pathway for high school student-athletes, the remote College Advisor will build personalized college plans, ensure NCAA eligibility, and guide students through the college application process while collaborating with families and coaches.

Key responsibilities

• Build and update personalized college roadmaps for each student-athlete based on academic and athletic profiles
• Track and manage NCAA eligibility status, ensuring compliance with core course requirements and deadlines
• Coach students on personal statements and application essays, helping them articulate their unique stories effectively

Required qualifications

• Experience guiding a full cohort of students through the college application process from junior year to enrollment
• Fluency with NCAA Eligibility Center requirements and processes
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on deadlines and tracking systems
• Proficient writing coaching abilities, capable of editing student essays while maintaining their voice
• Background in athletics, either as a competitive athlete or coach, with an understanding of the recruiting cycle
