Job Summary

A company is looking for a College Economics/History/Philosophy Tutor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online tutoring sessions using the Socratic method to foster student independence and critical thinking
• Manage availability to tutor students primarily between Sunday and Thursday evenings
• Utilize the virtual classroom platform for interactive learning experiences

Required Qualifications

• Subject matter expertise in U.S. history, world history, or religion, preferably supported by an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Access to reliable, high-speed Internet and a quiet environment for conducting tutorials
• Ability to tutor a minimum of 2-5 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters
• Experience in teaching methodology or prior tutoring experience at the college level is preferred
• Excellent academic performance in relevant subjects
