Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collegiate Faculty, Teaching & Learning - Social Sciences.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach 18 credits annually in area(s) of expertise, engaging diverse learners in online environments
• Lead the peer evaluation process, coaching colleagues and synthesizing findings to enhance instructional performance
• Conduct and share Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) projects aligned with academic goals to foster pedagogical innovation

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate or appropriate terminal degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Gerontology, Social Sciences, or a relevant discipline
• Minimum of 8 years of academic, professional, or teaching experience, including at least 3 years of teaching
• Experience with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and peer evaluation leadership
• Experience teaching in asynchronous online environments
• Discipline-related work experience in non-academic environments is preferred
