Colombia HR Advisor

Job Summary

Leading the delivery of high-quality HR support, the full-time Senior HR Advisor for Colombia will manage day-to-day HR operations, ensure compliance with Colombian employment law, and serve as the primary liaison with the payroll provider while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for the payroll provider, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance with local regulations
• Provide HR advice and support to staff on various employment matters, ensuring alignment with Colombian labor laws and organizational policies
• Implement global HR policies tailored to the Colombian context and identify areas for policy improvement

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Officer in Colombia
• Strong working knowledge of Colombian labor law and statutory obligations
• Experience managing third-party HR vendors such as payroll providers
• Fluent in Spanish and advanced in written and spoken English
• Experience in a mission-driven, non-profit, or multi-country organization is preferred
