Color Mastering Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Color Mastering Specialist for a 12+ month contract assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the color mastering process from design hand-off to production sign-off for all A-surface materials
• Lead physical sample reviews and visual alignment sessions across various materials
• Create and maintain master standards for each material and resolve color matching issues with suppliers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Materials Engineering, Color Science, or related field
• 3+ years in color development, material specification, or color quality control
• Strong eye for color, finish, and texture evaluation under various lighting conditions
• Experience with paints, plastics, decals, and soft goods from a visual quality perspective
• Familiarity with color matching processes and visual evaluation tools is a plus
