Job Summary
Joining the Northwest Air & Climate Team, the full-time Colorado Air Quality Consultant will conduct emissions and air quality modeling studies, perform statistical analyses, and collaborate on complex projects to provide innovative solutions for clients in a remote or onsite capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct emissions, meteorological, and air quality modeling/analysis studies
- Perform statistical and geospatial analyses of emissions and air quality data
- Analyze and report modeling results to achieve project goals collaboratively
Required qualifications
- B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Atmospheric or Environmental Science, or a closely related field with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and 2+ years of experience, or an M.S. in the same fields with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Experience in air quality or related areas such as atmospheric chemistry, meteorology, or emission processes
- Familiarity with air quality models and programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB
- Exposure to predictive AI, machine learning, and data science is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team environments
