Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth practice, the part-time Colorado Licensed Alcohol Counselor will manage a caseload of members, provide individualized coaching and education on alcohol use, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans through standardized intake processes
- Facilitate individual coaching sessions via video/phone calls and app-based communication, monitoring health outcomes and coordinating care
- Document sessions in EMR and billing systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and privacy standards
Required qualifications
- Certification as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent, recognized by IC&RC
- 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
- BA/BS and/or MA preferred
- Experience with EMR systems, Zoom conferencing, and app-based applications
- Knowledge of evidence-based SUD treatment programs and harm reduction models
