Job Summary
Dedicated to advancing environmental justice, the Colorado Licensed Associate Attorney will work full-time in a hybrid role, focusing on litigation and advocacy to promote clean energy initiatives and address climate issues, while collaborating with senior attorneys in Denver.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting legal and factual research to support litigation and administrative advocacy
- Drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents for court and agency proceedings
- Building relationships with clients, experts, and coalition partners to further environmental initiatives
Required qualifications
- Law school graduate with 1-5 years of legal experience, admitted to or eligible for the Colorado State Bar
- Strong commitment to environmental justice and public interest advocacy
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated research, analytical, and writing skills
- High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
