Colorado Licensed Associate Broker

Job Summary

To support a growing brokerage team, the full-time Colorado Licensed Associate Broker will ensure quality control of brokerage files, draft submissions for underwriters, and actively pursue new business opportunities while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure quality control across all files, scrutinizing policies and documentation for accuracy and adherence to guidelines
• Draft error-free submissions and communicate coverage terms with underwriters under the guidance of the broker
• Review and analyze risks, issue quotes, and deliver customer service during the marketing of new and renewal business

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or Risk Management preferred
• 1 year of experience in wholesale brokerage, commercial insurance coverages, sales, or underwriting preferred
• Must meet minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses
• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) preferred
