Colorado Licensed Associate Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical decision-making for the Utilization Management program and provide guidance to the clinical review team
• Engage in consultations with other Medical Directors and participate in medical meetings
• Conduct secondary-level Utilization Management reviews and prepare for Medicaid Fair Hearings

Required Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. with a current non-restricted medical license
• Board certification in a clinical specialty
• Minimum of 5 years of active practice with a preference for 10+ years
• 5-7 years of experience in managed care strategies and Utilization Management
• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare programs
