Colorado Licensed Coding Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Quality Auditor to support and lead quality assurance for Coding Services staff through regular auditing of coding selections.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a coding expert for assigned specialties and maintain records of audits
• Provide auditing of new and existing coders and monitor quality of coding staff work
• Identify education opportunities and assist with presentations based on audit results

Required Qualifications

• CPC or AHIMA coding certification required; CPMA is a plus
• 2-4 years of experience in a dedicated auditing position
• Strong knowledge of CPT and ICD 10 coding standards
• Skilled in navigating EMR systems and auditing software
