Job Summary

Supervising professional fee coders for assigned departments, the full-time Colorado Licensed Coding Supervisor will manage coding, abstracting, and charge posting for physician services while ensuring quality and productivity in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support coding staff, ensuring adherence to coding guidelines and quality standards
• Monitor charge lag and work queue activity to meet established metrics and operational improvements
• Collaborate with clinics and providers to resolve coding issues and participate in personnel management

Required qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of healthcare and revenue cycle experience within a physician practice
• Professional coding experience required; CPC or CCS-P certification is mandatory
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare applications required
