Job Summary
To support a growing construction law practice, the full-time salaried Colorado Licensed Construction Attorney will manage construction disputes, mechanics liens, and litigation matters while handling contract negotiations and related real estate issues in a flexible work-from-home environment.
Key responsibilities
- Handle construction matters from pre-litigation through trial, including depositions and hearings
- Represent clients in construction disputes and manage cases through all stages of litigation
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts while addressing real estate and commercial litigation matters as needed
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Colorado
- 3 to 5 years of legal experience with a focus on construction litigation
- Strong legal drafting and analytical skills; first chair experience in depositions, hearings, and trials preferred
