Job Summary
Seeking a committed Colorado Licensed Counselor Educator, the part-time Affiliate Faculty will teach courses in the PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision program remotely, focusing on instruction, assessment of student learning outcomes, and program evaluation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and teach courses using blended formats designed for adult learners, utilizing the Brightspace learning platform
- Assess and validate student learning outcomes and make recommendations for program improvement per the PhD-CES Assessment Plan
- Engage in professional development and contribute to CCU's mission through community involvement and committee participation
Required qualifications
- Doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program
- Minimum 2-4 years of teaching experience in graduate-level counseling programs
- Appropriate certification and/or licensure (e.g., LPC, LMHC)
- Knowledge and demonstrated application of adult learning theory in the classroom
- Record of active scholarship, including peer-reviewed publications or presentations at professional conferences
