To ensure the integrity of sports wagering in Colorado, the full-time salaried Colorado Licensed Cyber Investigator will conduct investigations into cyber-related criminal activities, analyze electronic data, and collaborate with various law enforcement agencies while primarily working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct extensive investigations into cyber and financial crimes related to sports betting, including data collection and analysis
- Analyze criminal intelligence stemming from patron complaints and operator compliance failures to initiate appropriate disciplinary actions
- Compile detailed reports for criminal prosecution and assist other law enforcement agencies to maintain the integrity of sports wagering
Required qualifications:
- Eight years of relevant investigative experience, specifically in cyber-related investigations
- Valid and active Colorado P.O.S.T. Certification
- Experience in conducting both criminal and regulatory investigations
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload
- Must pass a background investigation and maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License
