Job Summary
To ensure the accuracy and completeness of health information, the full-time Colorado Licensed Data Integrity Specialist will review medical records, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, all while working remotely from Colorado.
Key responsibilities
- Reviews and validates medical records and related documentation per established guidelines
- Investigates and resolves discrepancies, researching and correcting inaccurate or incomplete records
- Prepares reports and collaborates with teams to assist with problem identification and resolution
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree with training in Medical Terminology and Human Anatomy
- Preferred: Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) by AHIMA
- Preferred: Background in medical experience
