Job Summary
To maintain the accuracy and integrity of health information, the full-time Colorado Licensed Data Integrity Specialist will review and validate medical records, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, all while working remotely from within Colorado.
Key responsibilities
- Reviews and validates medical records and related documentation per established guidelines
- Investigates and resolves discrepancies, researching and correcting inaccurate or incomplete records
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree with training in Medical Terminology and Human Anatomy
- Preferred: Certified as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) by AHIMA
- Related experience preferred
