Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the full-time Colorado Licensed Employment Counsel will provide expert guidance on U.S. employment law matters, manage complex litigation, and drive legal frameworks in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Advise business leaders and HR partners on various employment law matters, including investigations and workforce restructurings
- Lead complex litigation and employment claims while ensuring compliance across functions and jurisdictions
- Develop legal frameworks and scalable solutions to enhance compliance and risk management within the organization
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active admission to at least one U.S. State Bar
- 5-7+ years of experience in employment law, with a mix of in-house and/or law firm practice
- Deep expertise in U.S. employment law and experience with international employment matters is a plus
- Proven ability to manage complex legal matters independently and influence senior stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills with experience advising executive-level stakeholders
