Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Project Geotechnical Engineer to support surface mining and mine waste storage projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design, investigation, analysis, and operation of tailings and mine waste storage facilities
Plan and supervise complex projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and client needs
Mentor technical staff and conduct independent technical reviews of engineering reports

Required Qualifications

BA/BS degree with 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience
Professional Engineer (PE) License
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Master's or PhD in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
12+ years of relevant experience in tailings storage facility design and operations preferred
