Job Summary

To support patient financial needs, the full-time Colorado Licensed Health Benefits Counselor will verify insurance coverage, determine eligibility for financial assistance programs, and act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers in a 100% remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage and authorization for scheduled procedures
• Determine patient eligibility for financial assistance programs and payment arrangements
• Act as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and billing offices to gather necessary information

Required qualifications

• 6 months of healthcare experience
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding
• Familiarity with medical terminology and customer service skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• CPR Certification (as required by facility)
