Colorado Licensed Industrial Hygienist

Job Summary

To support safe and compliant environments across a federal portfolio, the full-time Colorado Licensed Industrial Hygienist will conduct inspections, assessments, and investigations related to environmental health and safety while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct industrial hygiene inspections and assessments for various hazards including asbestos, lead, and indoor air quality
• Collect and analyze samples, interpret data, and recommend corrective actions based on findings
• Provide technical guidance for construction projects and respond to industrial hygiene-related incidents and emergencies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a science-related field
• Minimum of eight years of progressively responsible industrial hygiene experience
• Current State of Colorado certifications: Asbestos Building Inspector, Asbestos Air Monitoring Specialist, and Lead Inspector
• Current OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification with annual refresher
• Demonstrated knowledge of industrial hygiene sampling methods and environmental health assessment procedures
