Job Summary
To support safe and compliant environments across a federal portfolio, the full-time Colorado Licensed Industrial Hygienist will conduct inspections, assessments, and investigations related to environmental health and safety while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct industrial hygiene inspections and assessments for various hazards including asbestos, lead, and indoor air quality
- Collect and analyze samples, interpret data, and recommend corrective actions based on findings
- Provide technical guidance for construction projects and respond to industrial hygiene-related incidents and emergencies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in a science-related field
- Minimum of eight years of progressively responsible industrial hygiene experience
- Current State of Colorado certifications: Asbestos Building Inspector, Asbestos Air Monitoring Specialist, and Lead Inspector
- Current OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification with annual refresher
- Demonstrated knowledge of industrial hygiene sampling methods and environmental health assessment procedures
