Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Professional III Information Systems Security Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security and privacy risk assessments for system changes and control requests
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity policy training and support continuous monitoring of security posture
• Provide technical direction to colleagues on security control weaknesses and champion best practices

Required Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience, or Master's Degree with 3+ years, or PhD with equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of IT experience in risk assessment, auditing, or security planning
• Subject matter expertise in system development, network security, endpoint security, and cloud security management
• One or more professional security certifications (e.g., GIAC, CISA, CISSP)
• Familiarity with federal information security frameworks and legal issues related to cybersecurity
