Key Responsibilities

• Develops departmental goals, standards, and objectives to support organizational strategy
• Manages staff relations, including performance management and conflict resolution
• Oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and departmental budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Coding-related certification from AHIMA or AAPC
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree or certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
• 4 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role
