Job Summary
To support a growing global IP organization, the full-time salaried Colorado Licensed Intellectual Property Counsel will manage a diverse range of intellectual property matters, including advising on patents, technology transactions, and risk assessment, while collaborating with engineers and business leaders in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, and technology licensing
- Manage and develop the global patent portfolio, recommending filing and protection strategies
- Draft and negotiate intellectual property provisions in various commercial agreements
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state
- USPTO Registered Patent Attorney
- Minimum of 8 years of intellectual property legal experience, including patent preparation and prosecution
- Demonstrated ability to advise technical and business stakeholders on complex intellectual property matters
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
