Colorado Licensed Lead Roadway Engineer

Job Summary

Leading roadway design efforts for transportation projects, the full-time Colorado Licensed Lead Roadway Engineer will manage multi-discipline teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure high-quality design execution from concept development through PS&E and construction support, primarily working onsite in Greenwood Village, CO.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee roadway design execution and coordinate with project managers and clients
• Provide mentorship to engineers and drive improvements in design workflows and tools
• Lead QA/QC efforts for roadway design tasks to ensure accuracy and completeness of submittals

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Colorado licensure preferred
• 6-10+ years of civil engineering experience, including 4-5+ years in roadway design
• Strong proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads Designer
• Experience delivering CDOT projects and familiarity with CDOT design manuals
