Colorado Licensed Medical Assistant
Job Summary
To support critical health programs, the remote Colorado Licensed Medical Assistant will manage care coordination activities for a large patient panel, conduct follow-up calls, and assist in improving patient outcomes while working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm Mountain Time.
Key responsibilities
- Directly supports the High-Risk Prioritization and Transitions of Care programs to enhance patient outcomes
- Conducts outreach and manages a substantial workload, including post-hospital discharge follow-up calls for a panel of over 30,000 patients
- Serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and managing administrative tasks
Required qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or willingness to obtain by date of hire
- 2+ years of experience working as a Medical Assistant
