Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nurse Practitioner Faculty for the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach 24 credits annually in the Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner tracks
• Participate in nursing committees, doctoral program meetings, and contribute to program and curriculum development
• Maintain competence as a Family Nurse Practitioner through weekly clinical practice and model Christian discipleship in teaching

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a Family Nurse Practitioner emphasis from an accredited nursing school
• National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• Active, unencumbered Colorado or multi-state Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license
• Three years of full-time clinical experience in family practice
• Three to five years of graduate teaching experience in a nationally accredited program preferred
