Job Summary
To support urgent health concerns in the community, the full-time Colorado Licensed Nurse Triage will perform telephone triage, collect patient data, and provide care advice remotely while residing in the Denver metropolitan area.
Key responsibilities
- Collect patient health data and perform initial assessments for various age groups, differentiating between normal and abnormal findings
- Review medications, monitor call queue safety, and provide guidance to staff while ensuring clear documentation of assessments and care advice
- Conduct quality improvement activities and adjust care advice based on unique patient needs using nursing judgment
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required
- 1-3 years of recent nursing experience required, with a minimum of two years preferred
- Current RN license from the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- Ability to provide age-appropriate triage and treatment dispositions for a diverse patient population required
