Job Summary
Collaborating with nursing faculty, the full-time Colorado Licensed Nursing Simulation Coordinator will manage clinical learning lab facilities and simulation lab activities, design and implement simulation activities, and evaluate student performance in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plans and teaches simulation activities in coordination with course faculty to meet educational objectives
- Coordinates simulation lab operations, including scheduling, equipment management, and maintaining a safe learning environment
- Serves on department committees and contributes to the development and evaluation of nursing education policies and practices
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing, healthcare, education, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution
- Active, unrestricted Colorado RN license or eligibility for Colorado licensure by endorsement at the time of hire
- Experience in teaching or coordinating simulation activities in nursing education
- Knowledge of INACSL standards for simulation and evaluation of student performance
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed
