Job Summary
Leading a dynamic team, the full-time Colorado Licensed Nursing Simulation Director will oversee the Interprofessional Simulation and Skills Hub, managing operations, finances, and educational initiatives while collaborating with faculty and community stakeholders to enhance simulation-based learning across the College of Health and Human Sciences.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Interprofessional Simulation and Skills Hub, ensuring high-quality simulation learning activities
- Teach and facilitate simulation-based education, providing mentorship and support to faculty and staff in alignment with course outcomes
- Lead research initiatives and grant pursuits to advance simulation education and maintain accreditation standards
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing, healthcare, education, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution
- Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certificate, or ability to obtain within two years of hire
- Active, unrestricted Colorado RN license or eligibility for Colorado licensure by endorsement at the time of hire
- Experience leading or coordinating healthcare simulation programs in an academic or healthcare education setting
- Minimum of five years of clinical practice experience as a registered nurse
