Colorado Licensed Nursing Simulation Director

Job Summary

Leading a dynamic team, the full-time Colorado Licensed Nursing Simulation Director will oversee the Interprofessional Simulation and Skills Hub, managing operations, finances, and educational initiatives while collaborating with faculty and community stakeholders to enhance simulation-based learning across the College of Health and Human Sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Interprofessional Simulation and Skills Hub, ensuring high-quality simulation learning activities
• Teach and facilitate simulation-based education, providing mentorship and support to faculty and staff in alignment with course outcomes
• Lead research initiatives and grant pursuits to advance simulation education and maintain accreditation standards

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing, healthcare, education, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution
• Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certificate, or ability to obtain within two years of hire
• Active, unrestricted Colorado RN license or eligibility for Colorado licensure by endorsement at the time of hire
• Experience leading or coordinating healthcare simulation programs in an academic or healthcare education setting
• Minimum of five years of clinical practice experience as a registered nurse
