Colorado Licensed Patient Account Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Associate II, fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Post payments to patient accounts, balancing payments to deposits and resolving discrepancies
• Research and validate payment postings, following up on missing information and contacting payers as necessary
• Assist teammates with complex assignments and escalate issues to leadership as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of full cycle medical billing experience
• At least six months in a healthcare cash posting role
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• Experience with insurance claim appeals and basic accounting procedures
