Job Summary

To support the healthcare team, the full-time Colorado Licensed Patient Account Specialist will process account payments, update insurance information, and collaborate with various departments to resolve billing issues in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Processing account payments and updating insurance and demographic information
• Researching payments and rebilling insurance based on updates
• Collaborating with other departments for resolution, including adjustments and insurance follow-up

Required qualifications

• 1 year of healthcare experience required
• Billing experience preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance billing and follow-up practices preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
