Colorado Licensed Peer Support Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SUD Peer Support Specialist to provide support for individuals with substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist families and consumers in defining recovery goals and developing necessary skills for recovery
• Communicate with consumers and families regarding the substance abuse delivery system and their rights
• Collaborate with care managers and community agencies to facilitate transitions between services

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• 3+ years of community outreach work experience within the local community
• Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
• Access to a designated quiet workspace in home for handling Protected Health Information (PHI)
• Must reside in Colorado
