Job Summary
A company is looking for a Refill Authorization Pharmacist PRN.
Key Responsibilities
- Review patients' medication orders for safety and appropriateness, making evidence-based interventions as necessary
- Oversee medication preparation and delivery, ensuring secure storage and effective workflow
- Provide patient counseling and education on medication adherence and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice pharmacy in the state of practice and dispense controlled substances
- Current knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Immunization certification if applicable to practice site needs
- Preferred: Previous experience in an integrated healthcare delivery system and board certification
