Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacist Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness and make recommendations for therapy changes
• Review drug regimens and clinical indicators monthly, reporting irregularities to relevant healthcare staff
• Document all communications with healthcare team members and maintain knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy or Pharmacy Doctorate
• Current pharmacy license required; dual license preferred
• One year of experience in acute, long-term care, or home health preferred
• Consultant or Clinical Pharmacist experience preferred
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization required
