Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Pharmacy Care Coordinator, National Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Consults with members and providers to coordinate medication prior authorization and document outcomes
• Communicates with providers to gather clinical information for medical necessity determinations
• Prepares utilization reviews of medications and manages time limits for review determinations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• 2+ years of experience in a clinical healthcare setting as a Pharmacy Tech or Medical Assistant
• 2+ years of experience within Utilization Review function
• 2+ years of experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payor guidelines
• 2+ years of experience in Prior Authorization in a pharmacy setting
