Job Summary

To support a mission-driven team, the full-time Colorado Licensed Pharmacy Specialist will manage prior authorization requests and appeals for cancer patients, ensuring they receive necessary medications while working remotely if licensed in Colorado.

Key responsibilities

• Manage prior authorization requests and appeals with insurance carriers
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other departments to facilitate medication access
• Ensure HIPAA compliance while maintaining accurate documentation of authorization details

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of pharmacy or prior authorization experience
• Registration with Board of Pharmacy as required by state law
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, insurance claims, and medication billing
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
