Job Summary

Providing essential support to members, the fully remote Colorado Licensed Pharmacy Technician - Member Care Advocate will manage pharmacy claims processing, respond to inquiries from members and healthcare providers, and assist with administrative tasks for leadership teams while working Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Mountain Time.

Key responsibilities:
  • Assist members with pharmacy claims processing and plan benefits while troubleshooting issues in the claims adjudication system
  • Respond to inquiries from members, clients, pharmacies, and physician offices, ensuring effective communication of escalated concerns
  • Document actions and outcomes in the client database and prepare invoices for the Accounting team
Required qualifications:
  • High School Diploma; a 2-year college degree in a related field is preferred
  • Pharmacy technician experience is preferred
  • Ability to explain prescription benefit plans to members and pharmacies
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of claims processing and analytical thinking skills are helpful
