Colorado Licensed Project Development Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Development Engineer to develop and implement project opportunities in energy efficiency and renewable technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and connect with customer decision makers to develop opportunities for energy conservation and renewable solutions
• Coordinate site visits to assess existing systems and document energy performance information
• Collaborate with engineers to prepare design documents, cost estimates, and provide technical guidance throughout project development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Engineering preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in energy efficiency development and/or engineering design
• Professional Engineering license (PE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and/or LEED AP preferred
• Ability to analyze energy savings and implement complex projects involving HVAC systems
• Knowledge of project cost estimating and accounting is a plus
