Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the part-time Colorado Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will manage systematic caseload reviews, recommend evidence-based treatment plans, and conduct telehealth evaluations for patients with behavioral health needs related to oncology.
Key responsibilities
- Provide systematic caseload review with Behavioral Health Care Managers during weekly interdisciplinary team meetings
- Recommend evidence-based medication and treatment plans to referring oncologists and primary care providers
- Conduct direct psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits via telehealth for patients requiring specialty assessment
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Colorado APRN license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with full prescriptive authority
- Active DEA registration with Colorado state controlled substance authority
- Board certification through ANCC (PMHNP-BC)
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited psychiatric mental health NP program
- Minimum three years of independent psychiatric prescribing experience with adult populations
