Job Summary

Colorado Licensed Purchasing Agent, is a full-time remote position responsible for drafting and evaluating solicitations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with procurement codes and rules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafts and evaluates requests for proposals and other solicitations
  • Negotiates vendor agreements and contracts, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations
  • Provides training and guidance to staff on procurement processes and best practices
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Two years of relevant experience in writing requests for proposals or contracts
  • Six years of relevant experience may substitute for education requirements
  • A Juris Doctor degree or a related Master's degree may substitute for required experience
  • Experience must include significant writing duties related to procurement and contracts
