Colorado Licensed Roadway Design Manager

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Colorado Licensed Roadway Design Manager will oversee engineering activities, provide strategic direction for staff development, and manage client relationships to deliver resilient, safety-focused transportation solutions in Denver, Colorado.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead engineering activities throughout the proposal, design, and construction stages of projects
• Provide leadership and technical oversight to develop staff's skills and foster a culture of quality and innovation
• Develop and leverage client relationships while supporting proposal efforts and business performance initiatives

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Planning, or equivalent required
• Civil Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE), or American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) licensure preferred
• Minimum of 10+ years of engineering experience in transportation design and/or construction
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with various stakeholders
• Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications and openness to embracing evolving technology and AI tools
