Colorado Licensed Scheduler

Job Summary

To support patient scheduling needs, the part-time Colorado Licensed Scheduler will manage phone calls and fax requests for outpatient tests, complete pre-registration for scheduled patients, and ensure valid provider orders are obtained while working remotely from Colorado.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process scheduling requests from patients via phone and fax
• Complete pre-registration for scheduled patients and verify provider orders
• Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 codes in scheduling tasks

Required qualifications

• 1 year of previous Patient Scheduling or Patient Access experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience with Epic software
• Proficiency in typing at least 35 WPM
• Office experience in a healthcare environment preferred
