Colorado Licensed Scheduler

Job Summary

To support patient scheduling needs, the full-time Colorado Licensed Scheduler will manage phone calls and fax requests to schedule outpatient tests, complete pre-registration for patients, and ensure valid provider orders are obtained while working remotely from the Denver Metro area.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process scheduling requests for outpatient tests via phone and fax
• Complete pre-registration for scheduled patients and verify provider orders
• Maintain knowledge of insurance payors and medical terminology to assist patients effectively

Required qualifications

• 1 year of previous Radiology Scheduling or Patient Access experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of CPT-ICD 10 coding and medical terminology
• Experience in a healthcare office environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
