Colorado Licensed Scheduler

Job Summary

To support patient scheduling needs, the full-time Colorado Licensed Scheduler will manage incoming calls and fax requests to schedule outpatient tests, complete pre-registration for patients, and ensure valid provider orders are obtained, all while working remotely from the Denver Metro area.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process scheduling requests for outpatient tests via phone and fax
• Complete pre-registration for scheduled patients and verify provider orders
• Ensure a high level of patient care and compassion throughout the scheduling process

Required qualifications

• 1 year of Radiology Scheduling or Patient Access experience preferred
• Knowledge of insurance payors, including commercial, government, and third-party
• Office experience in a healthcare environment with familiarity in medical terminology and CPT-ICD 10 codes
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and multitask effectively
