Colorado Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Colorado Licensed Senior Accountant will safeguard assets through monthly accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and perform data analysis while supporting assigned companies.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and explain all aspects of the accounting process, including routine and non-routine tasks requiring in-depth analysis
• Act as a technical resource for accounting, providing expertise in generally accepted accounting principles and overseeing month-end close activities
• Mentor and train other accounting team members while potentially leading projects and supervisory duties

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited institution
• Demonstrated progressive accounting experience
• Master's of Accountancy or Business Administration preferred
• CPA license preferred
• Strong experience with healthcare accounting preferred
