Job Summary
To support diverse learners in a flexible online environment, the part-time Colorado Licensed Special Education Teacher will co-teach in general education settings and provide specialized instruction in Math or Language Arts/Study Skills while fostering student growth and academic success.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with general education mentors to deliver differentiated instruction and implement accommodations for diverse learners
- Provide direct specialized lab instruction in Reading, Writing, Math, and Study Skills based on individual student needs
- Track student progress and use data to inform instructional decisions while communicating with internal stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Special Education Teaching License in the state of Colorado
- Colorado Resident
- Experience supporting diverse learners in academic settings
- Ability to differentiate instruction across multiple subject areas
- Familiarity with progress monitoring and intervention strategies
